Tat Mom Industries® is what happens when lived experience, hard-earned lessons, a newfound faith, and a whole lot of grace collide. Founded by Amber D. Scott, this isn't a perfectly polished story about following the right path and making all the right decisions. Quite the opposite.
After spending more than two decades helping people navigate some of the hardest seasons of their lives, Amber eventually hit her own rock bottom. Years of patterns and some spectacularly questionable decisions (because those who can't do, teach...right?) finally left her with no choice but to face the consequences, own her part in the mess, and learn firsthand that accountability and shame are not the same thing.
Somewhere in the middle of all of it, she found God. She found grace. She found forgiveness. And eventually, she learned how to extend some of that grace to herself. And she learned something else:
You can have a past and still be worthy of an incredible future.
You are still worthy of success. Still worthy of opportunity. Still worthy of building something you're proud of. Still worthy of taking up space at the damn table.
Mistakes don't make you a mistake.
Your past can be part of your story without becoming your identity, and starting over isn't always failure. Sometimes, it's redemption.
That's the heart behind Tat Mom Industries®. Turning pain into purpose. This isn't just a brand built from lived experience. It's a place where that experience gets turned into something useful—resources, education, tools, opportunities, recommendations, and real-world lessons designed to help you build income, build confidence, create opportunities, and figure out what comes next.
Not because Amber has done everything perfectly. Because she hasn't.
She's tried things. Built things. Lost things. Made monumental mistakes. Invested in things that worked—and some that absolutely didn't. She's changed directions, learned the hard way, started over, and kept building.
Tat Mom Industries® exists to share those lessons, resources, connections, and shortcuts so maybe your road forward doesn't have to be quite as damn complicated.
Come as you are and who you are. Cuss. Don't cuss. Doesn't matter.
We believe the messier our stories are, the more room there can be for God to do something extraordinary through us. We don't do perfect here. And we sure as hell don't do judgment.
Bring your scars. Bring your story. Bring your questions. Bring your lessons. Bring the big-ass dream you're almost afraid to say out loud. You don't have to erase where you've been to deserve where you're going.
There's room at the table—and someone else's success doesn't take a damn thing away from yours.
You are worthy of being here. You are worthy of success. Now let's build something worth being proud of.
